Summary Note
Views of road through Spanish moss and survey of pine trees for timber and turpentine.
&nnsp; Identifying information for images is indicated where known. The donor's grandfather, Charles Maurice Munson, was superintendent of the land sales and turpentine operations of Stearns and Culver Lumber Company (Ludington, Michigan) which began operations in Bagdad, Florida in 1905. The company later became the Bagdad Land and Lumber Company until the assets were sold in 1919. The original photographs are by Cottrell and may have been commissioned to show portions of the Stearns and Culver company, though the photographs are generally unidentified.
