Summary Note

The funeral of Naval Aviator 14, LTJG Richard C. Saufley, down Palafox street (corner of Garden and Palafox Street) is shown in this photograph, which also shows one of the Pensacola streetcars or trolleys. Saufley was killed in the crash of his Curtiss Mdel E hydroplane AH-8 off Pensacola on June 9, 1916.
