Walker Wilmer Thomas (Walker W. Thomas) of 429 N. DeVillier St., Pensacola, Florida was a newspaper columnis for The Freeman (Indianapolis, IN; an African-American newspaper), reporting on black society in Pensacola.
&nnsp; This column of March 22, 1912 reports on the visit of Dr. Booker T. Washington to Pensacola as well as marriages and activities of Pensacol's African-American society.
