Scope and Contents
Autobiographical files of Leora M. Sutton, consisting of scrapbooks (1937-1947), a photograph album (1960-1970), and personal memoirs of growing up in Plano, Vinton, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Scrapbooks cover life between 1945 and 1947 including playbills, restaurant programs, etc. for Los Angeles, Hollywood, Chicago, New York, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Photograph album covers historic houses, archaeological excavations, and historic preservation and restoration in Pensacola, Florida, chiefly in the Seville Square historic district and on Santa Rosa Island. Includes a folder of materials on the history of D-Day (June 6, 1944).

Photographs in photograph album may be used, provided Mrs. Sutton is given credit for photographs.
Box 2 is sealed until 2015.

Permission may be granted by the Special Collections Librarian for such reprography dependent on issues of copyright, ownership, condition, donor agreements, etc. In general, staff do not make reproductions of copyright materials or materials for which title is not owned by the institution. Recent revisions in the U.S. Copyright Law extended the copyright of correspondence, letters, and other personal papers to the life of the author plus seventy years.
