Papers and records, 1969-1981, of the office of Student Affairs, 1976-1981 and its predecessor, the Dean of Students Office, 1973-1976, including correspondence, reports, memoranda and other records concerning student life at UWF. Subjects covered include student activities, athletics, black students and minority services, the child care center, the health center, housing, student orientation, student publications, Springcoming and related topics. Other materials concern the Committee on International Education, the inauguration of President Robinson, the Non-Academic Administration Committee, Omega College Reorganization Committee, the Panama City Campus Planning Committee, and the Women's Awareness Task force Committee.

Open to researchers, dependent on our compliance with U.S. Copyright Law, HIPPA requirements, donor agreements and other applicable state and federal statutes. Occasionally we may need to review a collection before permitting immediate access.

Permission may be granted by the Special Collections Librarian for such reprography dependent on issues of copyright, ownership, condition, donor agreements, etc. In general, staff do not make reproductions of copyright materials or materials for which title is not owned by the institution. Recent revisions in the U.S. Copyright Law extended the copyright of correspondence, letters, and other personal papers to the life of the author plus seventy years.
