Scope and Contents
Photographs, ca. 1870-1892, partly identified, of the Watson, Allen, and Didmus Families of Bagdad, Milton, and Pensacola, Florida. Photographs range from tintypes to cabinet photos to carte-de-visites, from photographers in Mobile and Montgomery, Alabama, and Milton and Pensacola, Florida. Persons identified include W.L. Brackin, D.D. Duglass, A.E. Dupey, J.C. Forbes, Dasie Green, E.L. Green, V.J. Snedicor, Lula J. Stillmas, Capt. J.R. Storks, W. W. Watson.

Photographers are listed on inventory.
[PPCCS] on inventory denotes Photo Print Cabinet Card Sepia as terminology for the photograph.
Photographs were originally in a deteriorating photograph album. Because of the preservation damage of the album as well as the lack of identifying marks or notations on the album or pages, it was discarded and the photographs retained.
Information that the album was the Watson, Allen, and Didmus Families came from the donor, Mr. Cusachs; only one photograph is identified as a Watson. Neither Allen or Didmus names appear on the partly identified portraits.
