West Florida Video Collection
Content Description
This collection will consist of physical media that has been digitized as well as information on the digital files. These will include video materials such as CDs, DVDs, videocassettes, miniDVD cassettes, and similar items. In all cases, the items have been converted digitally and will be accessible by the Islandora interface. This collection will consist of a 'file' for each item to provide additional access.
As an item is added, it will be added to the 'inventory' with information, subjects, etc.

Existence and Location of Copies
As of 2021, video materials received by the University Archives and West Florida History Center will move into digital transfer. This collection will hold the original materials as well as information about the materials. The digital copy will be made available through Islandora for public access. If the original material (e.g. videotape, DVD, CD) is part of the records of an organization or another collection in itself, the original material will be stored with that collection.
